2025 Genesis EV Range & Charging Times: Our Guide

As electric vehicles become more and more popular, Genesis gains traction in the EV segment. The 2025 lineup is designed to offer peak performance but also effortless and fast charging capabilities.

Follow along as our team at Delray Genesis shares what range and charging times you can expect from the Electrified GV70, Electrified G80, and the GV60.

Electrified GV70

The Electrified GV70 is powered by two electric motors that generate 483 horsepower and comes with standard all-wheel drive.

The 2025 model provides 236 miles of driving per charge, though the 2026 model has a slightly larger battery that increases the driving range slightly.

The Electrified GV70 comes equipped with a fast onboard charger, which can charge the battery from 10 to 80% in around 20 minutes or less.

Electrified G80

The Electrified G80 also has a pair of electric onboard motors. They create 365 horsepower. It is also equipped with a rear-wheel-steering system.

It is estimated that the Electrified G80 produces 282 miles of range per charge. It comes with a fast DC charger, which charges the battery from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes.

GV60

The GV60 is Genesis’ first all-electric SUV and has a dual-electric motor setup that generates 483 horsepower.

With a 77.4 kWh battery pack, it generates 294 miles of driving range per charge. When plugged into a DC fast charger, the battery can charge from 10-80% in around 18 minutes.

Home Charging

For home charging, Genesis EVs are compatible with Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, which generally charge batteries from 10 to 100% overnight or in about seven hours, respectively.

Public Charging

Owners of electric Genesis vehicles can access the Tesla Supercharger network with the use of the free NACS adapter provided by Genesis. Moving forward in 2026, all models will include a NACS charger.

A large network of public chargers is also available through ChargePoint, and is accessible through a Genesis charging benefit.

Genesis owners can also use apps like the Shell Recharge app to find compatible charging stations if a Tesla Supercharger or ChargePoint charger is unavailable.
