2026 Genesis Lineup: What’s New & What’s Leaving?

Since its introduction into the luxury automotive market in late 2015, Genesis has become a household name for sleek design, cutting-edge technology, and enhanced performance. As we head into 2026, we have a few updates to share that we are excited about here at Delray Genesis.
Follow our team as we break down what’s coming and what’s on the way out for the 2026 model year.
What’s In Store?
In 2026, Genesis is doubling down on innovation. Buyers can expect more electric options, upgraded design details, and state-of-the-art technology. The brand is also saying goodbye to select trims and features that no longer align with its future direction.
What’s New in the 2026 Genesis Lineup
The 2026 lineup gets upgrades across the board, with sharper styling, more advanced technology, and expanded EV models.
Some highlights:
- Expanded EV Portfolio: Genesis continues to expand its electric lineup with updates to the GV60 and the introduction of a brand-new all-electric sedan. Expect longer range, faster charging, and even more premium features.
- Refreshed G80: This popular midsize luxury sedan gets a facelift for 2026, with a redesigned grille, updated lighting signatures, and upgraded interior materials. Enhanced driver-assistance systems also come standard.
- Next-Generation Infotainment: Across the lineup, Genesis is rolling out a new infotainment system with a larger curved display, AI-powered personalization, and seamless smartphone integration.
- Performance Upgrades: Some trims of the G70 and GV70 get powertrain tweaks for better efficiency and responsiveness.
What’s Leaving in 2026
As Genesis streamlines its offerings, a few familiar models and features won’t be carried forward.
- G70 Manual Transmission: The sport sedan’s manual option will be officially phased out, as automatic and performance-tuned versions remain the focus.
- Select Gas-Only Trims: With the shift toward electrification, some lower-volume gas-only trims in the GV70 and GV80 will be discontinued in favor of hybrid or fully electric options.
- Older Infotainment Features: Outdated software and smaller displays are being replaced with the new system across the lineup.
