2025 GV70: What’s New?

Genesis has announced that the GV70 will get a refresh with a larger 27-inch infotainment display, but before that, we think the 2025 iteration is a vehicle you must check out! 

The 2025 model year has a few changes including:

• Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

• Discontinued paint colors include Cardiff Green and Brunswick Green

• New color offerings include Storr Green (matte is also available), Matterhorn Matte White, and Makalu Gray Matte

Performance & Engine

The 2025 iteration of the GV70 is available with either a Turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder which makes 300 horsepower or a Twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 which makes 375 horsepower. 

Both engines are paired with an eight-speed transmission, and all-wheel drive comes standard. 

The V6 engine can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, while the Turbo-four comes in at 5.6 seconds. Nice!

P.S. The tow rating is 3500 pounds.

Fuel Economy 

Fuel economy is important to most drivers, and the Genesis GV70 doesn’t disappoint. The turbocharged four-cylinder configuration offers 22 miles a gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. The V6 engine offers a little less efficiency with 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway respectively. 

Exterior

The overall aesthetic of the GV70 is classy with the signature Genesis crest grille, and signature quad-beam LED headlights. Plus, it has double LED daytime running lights and turn signal indicators. 

The same sporty and athletic stance continues at the back of the vehicle with LED brake lights, turn signal indicators, and a reverse light that is integrated into the bumper. Plus, it has a brake light-up at the top of the spoiler. 

Looking at the wheels, the GV70 comes with 19-inch or 21 alloy options with a new distinct signature design. 

The mirrors are power folding with heaters, blind spot monitoring, and auto-dimming features. 

Interior

It’s said that the GV70 is one of the most influential models in the lineup and it is easy to see why. Just looking at the interior you know you are in for a comfortable and luxurious ride. Genesis appointed the entire cabin with upscale materials, and ample space for passengers in the second row, which is not something you always get in a luxury vehicle!
