The 5 Most Anticipated Features Of The 2025 GV80 Coupe

If you’re a fan of the luxurious Genesis lineup, you’ll want to check out the 2024 GV80 Coupe! With its sporty design with a slope that ends with a large duckbill spoiler, the Coupe is an exciting addition to the Genesis family.

Our team at Delray Genesis explores five of our most anticipated features of the 2025 GV80 Coupe!

We love:

  • The Genesis GV80 Coupe only comes in two trim levels

  • The distinctive exterior design

  • A luxurious yet sporty interior

  • Launch control

  • Drive modes

Let’s take a closer look at each!

#1. Trim Levels

The 2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe is available in two trim levels:

  • 3.5T AWD

  • 3.5T E-Supercharger AWD

The standard GV80 Coupe has numerous standard features including a panoramic sunroof, and powered, heated, and ventilated rear seats.

The E-Supercharged trim comes in a 409 horsepower, while the base model offers 375 horsepower from its turbocharged V6 engine.

#2. Exterior Features

The GV80 Coupe is a sportier version of the GV80 and comes with a more aggressive sloped roofline as well as an updated grille at the front.

It is also available in these colors:

  • Alta White

  • Bering Blue

  • Capri Blue

  • Makalu Gray

  • Makalu Gray Matter

  • Mauna Red

  • Savile Silver

  • Storr Green

  • Uyuni White

  • Vik Black

#3. Sporty Interior

The interior is where the 2025 GV80 Coupe stands out. The surfaces throughout the cabin are appointed with a mix of leather, wood, metal, carbon fiber, and microsuede. Plus, there is a seamless 27.0-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen that takes up about two-thirds of the dashboard.

Genesis has also added luxurious features throughout including:

  • Heated armrests

  • An in-car fragrance diffuser

  • UV light disinfection device for your smartphone

The new 2025 GV80 Coupe also supports wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

#4. Launch Control

We absolutely love that the Genesis GV80 Coupe offers launch control as part of its Advanced Assitance System (ADAS). Essentially, this helps drivers accelerate quickly from standing still.

Here’s how it works:

  • When Launch Control is engaged, it raises the torque converter’s stall speed to 2,000 rpm, which allows the engine to power a more aggressive launch.

  • When engaged, the automatic transmission shifts more aggressively like a sports car would.

The Launch Control function is available when Sport+ drive mode is selected, which disables traction control.

#5. Drive Modes

The Genesis GV80 Coupe comes equipped with five different drive modes including Sport, Sport+, Comfort, Eco, and Snow. Plus, there is a customizable setting that drivers can set based on their specific preferences.

The Comfort mode is great for long road trips, while the Sport+ mode amplifies the sportiness of the GV80 Coupe and is further enhanced with engine noise that sounds amazing when the car downshifts. It has enhanced tuning and stiffer suspension and steering.

Plus, as noted about Sport+ mode, you can select launch mode.
